The History of the Woman’s Club of Palo Alto
Established in 1894 and in its permanent home at 475 Homer since 1916, the Woman’s Club took a leading role in establishing the City of Palo Alto. From sewers to tree planting, from the public library to schools, Woman’s Club members led the way.

Philanthropic Outreach
Throughout its 126 years, the Woman’s Club has focused on service to the community. Through direct giving in the form of grants and direct service through community outreach, the Woman’s Club of Palo Alto provides support for local organizations that serve women and children.

The Woman’s Club accepts members throughout the year. We are 250 members strong, with varying interests and backgrounds, and we welcome new members.
Make a Donation
As the Woman’s Club embarks on a multi-year renovation project to preserve and update its grand historic clubhouse, we gratefully accept donations in any amount to the Woman’s Club Historic Preservation Fund. The Woman's Club of Palo Alto is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
